One of the most prominent features of any SANDPIPER pump is the exclusive ESADS+Plus Air Distribution System that allows for quick remote site serviceability. Independent of the pilot valve position, the cross-drilled pressure ports in the main directional air valve spool provide a pneumatic bias of the spool at either end of travel. This is accomplished by directing (inner) chamber pressure to the end of the spool, boosting and sustaining pilot pressure until point-of-shift of the pilot valve. The benefit of this is that it eliminates spool from drifting due to vibration and/or unbalanced pressure or system conditions.

Sandpiper Containment Duty Air Operated Double Diaphragm pumps are designed to provide protection from spills for fluids that are hazardous or reactive to atmosphere. By placing a secondary chamber filled with a driver fluid between the outer diaphragm and the air end of the pump, detection of leaks can be acheived before they are able to reach atmosphere. This saves money, time and labor.

Warren Rupp’s Sandpiper Liquid Level Control is a float actuated liquid level control that is simple to set up and use. No electrical wires are needed, the float controls the airflow to the pump and therefore works universally with all AOD Pumps and other air operated pumps. The current model has also been ATEX Certified!
