NSF 61 Certified APEX and Bredel Pumps for Drinking Water

When manufacturing, selling or distributing water treatment or distribution products in North America, products are required to comply with NSF 61 by 48 States. Also, State agencies can order water producers to remove non-NSF 61 certified products.

To date, the Bredel pumps listed below are the only hose pumps to meet NSF 61 requirements. No other manufacturer of hose pumps (Verderflex, Graco, Flowrox, Albin, and others) have NSF 61 certification.

Precise Pigment Dosing at Paper Mill

This abrasive pigment that controls the shade of the paper stock is added at the preparation stage. “We dose very low, precise volumes as the shade is critical” explains Engineering Manager Tony Halhead. “However, the abrasive nature of the pigment was causing the stators and rotors in our Progressive Cavity (PC) pump to wear, leading to a drop in performance.”

The sealless F/FP 424 drum pump is ideal for transferring various low-viscosity and aggressive media. It is suitable for free-flowing liquids that are clean and non-abrasive. Best pair for use with drum, totes, IBCs, etc. (custom lengths are available upon request). The distinct FLUX advantage lies in the spiral-shaped guide bearing in the inner tube which prevents a build-up of media in the pump and increases the service life significantly. The pump is available in stainless steel, polypropylene or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The F/FP 424 in stainless steel can also be used in explosion-proof environments.
