T JET LargeT-JET multi-stage centrifugal pumps

The ideal pump for power and boiler feed applications

With capacities up to 4000 GPM and total dynamic head up to 1800′, Thomas Pump’s T-JET line of multi-stage pumps are perfectly suited for your high-flow, high-pressure needs.

  • MAX CAPACITY:
    • 4000 GPM
  • MAX DELIVERY
    • 100 BAR
  • MAX HEAD
    • 1800 FT
  • AVAILABLE MATERIALS
    • Cast Iron
    • Nodular Cast Iron
    • Stainless Steel

FLEXIBLE COUPLING
An optional flexible coupling allows the T-JET series pumps to connect to driving machines, generally for use on an electric motor.
LOW NET POSITIVE SUCTION HEAD DESIGN PREVENTS CAVITATION
SAFE FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS

TJ SERIES
TJ Series pumps are horizontally and between bearings mounted. Suction flange PN16 and Delivery flange PN40. The shaft is supported by two, grease lubricated, antifriction bearings.
TJR SERIES
TJR Series pumps are horizontally and between bearings mounted. Suction flange PN16 and Delivery flange PN64. The shaft is supported by two, oil lubricated, antifriction bearings.
TJTK SERIES
TJTK Series pumps are vertically mounted. Suction flange PN16 and Delivery flange PN40. The shaft on the suction side is led in slide bearing lubricated by the pump liquid, on the delivery side is supported by the motor bearing. Motor and pump are connected by a stool and a rigid coupling.
TJTKK SERIES
TJTKK Series pumps are horizontally and between bearings mounted. PN25 Suction flange and PN100 Delivery flange. Suction and Delivery nozzles are easily turned in 90° steps. Mechanical seal chamber can also accommodate API682 seals. Bearing supports are designed for heavy duty applications and with separate oil chamber.

CURFLO Uses CD4MCu as Standard where Others Use 316SS

Posted on by Sara Springer

Curflo Cd4mcu ComponentsCURFLO goes above and beyond when manufacturing their ANSI Pump Lines. Using CD4MCu as standard where others use 316SS makes CURFLO ANSI Pumps more durable and easier to maintain than the competition.

CD4MCu is a high alloy stainless steel with superior stress corrosion crack resistance, and better corrosion resistance in chloride environments compared to the standard materials such as 316SS.

CURFLO Dry-Running Seal Technology!

CURFLO Dry-Run Seal

Dry-running a pump happens, and usually this destroys the seals due to thermal shock caused by increased friction. Dry-running removes the cooling/lubricating provided by the fluid being pumped. CURFLO has introduced a new seal for it’s 12x14x22 XL-Series Blender Pump that allows for intermittent dry running situations and no damage!

A Magnetically Coupled Centrifugal Pump that Really Runs Dry by Renner

Renner Cut Away RM-TS Pump

RM-TS: The First Magnetically Coupled Centrifugal Pump Without A Sleeve

Continuous Run Dry Capability:

Conventional magnetically coupled pumps are not designed for dry run situations.  Renner presents a totally new type of magnetically coupled centrifugal pump that works without any sleeve bearing.  This is the first time this type of bearing is used with magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps.  The coefficient of friction for this new type of bearing is so low only minimal heat is generated.  The bearing does not require any cooling or liquid lubrication.

The below video shows one of these pumps running completely dry for 10+ minutes. You don’t need to watch the whole thing. It just proves the point.

Renner TS Run Dry Pump Demo 6,000+ hours and counting

Features & Benefits:

  • Simple and Reliable Design
  • NO Liquid Cooled Sleeve Bearings.
  • Increased Efficiency by using Bearings with an Extremely Small Coefficient of Friction.
  • No Metal in the Wetted End: Extremely High Resistance to Chemicals.
  • All present pumps of the RM-type can be adapted, upon request, to this new system to become absolutely safe to run dry.
  • Available for High-Speed Operation
