Nomad has just announced the introduction of its surge dampener product line, available with stainless steel body (wetted and non-wetted parts). The dampeners feature PTFE or EPDM elastomers depending on specific liquid transfer requirements. Dampener usage is critical in AODDP apps whereby laminar flow is preferred to reduce hose or pipe movement ( water hammer reduction) or when less agitation is paramount to insure nominal viscosity alteration. These dampeners gentle performance makes them ideal for the food and beverage industries.

Nomad’s surge dampeners are currently available in three sizes: 1’. 1.5” and 2” with rugged bolted construction, compete with heavy duty PSI gauge. Dampeners are in stock and ready to ship.
