Ampco’s ZP3 positive displacement pump has been awarded a U.S. Patent for its innovative front-loading seal design. The front-loading seal design allows for ease-of-maintenance, reduced downtime, and is fully CIPable. The ZP3, like all other ZP models, includes a stainless steel gearcase, furthering its appeal to end users. This is the second U.S. Patent Ampco has received for innovations to traditional positive displacement designs.

Ampco has enhanced the traditional design of the popular ZP1 pump and is pleased to introduce the ZP1+ (available in models 30 & larger). The patent pending design changes the position of the static & dynamic o-rings. ZP1+ O-rings can be changed without having to disconnect the pump from the piping system, providing easy maintenance and reduced downtime. Ampco Offers New ZP1 Double Lip Seal for the Oil & Gas Industry

With the PTFE Double Lip Seal, ZP1 “Frac” pumps are ideal for replacing the Waukesha U1 pumps used on Hydraulic Fracturing rigs. The ZP1 Series pumps come with stainless steel gear cases and pump housings as standard. Smaller sized pumps use 316L stainless steel shafts and larger pumps use 17-4PH shafts.
