AMPCO: Remanufactured Pumps, Revved Up and Ready to Go!
Ampco Pumps has announced the beggining of the Remanufactured Premium Economy (PE) Pumps program. These are remanufactured pumps that give factory new pump performance at a reduced cost. Ampco takes the gear case, rotor housing and cover (pump core) of a used pump and remanufactures them to oversized demensions. They than make new rotors and add brand new components which include their standard upgraded parts.
Ampco’s ZP1 “Frac” Pump with the New PTFE Double Lip Seal
With the PTFE Double Lip Seal, ZP1 “Frac” pumps are ideal for replacing the Waukesha U1 pumps used on Hydraulic Fracturing rigs. The ZP1 Series pumps come with stainless steel gear cases and pump housings as standard. Smaller sized pumps use 316L stainless steel shafts and larger pumps use 17-4PH shafts.
New: Ampco’s ZP3 Rotary Lobe Pump Makes CIP Easy
The ZP3 was designed with CIP Procedures in mind and is ready for in-line cleaning when it leaves the factory. Ampco has eliminated dead zones from the ZP2 design with this new model. Holes in the rotors ensure turbulent flow to the cover hub, and the design of the front loading seals allows for turbulent flow over the seal faces. And a Custom Free Drain Design improves CIPability while maintaining maximum pump efficiency. All of these features ensure that your CIP Process is easy and effective; with less cost, hassle and maintenance.
