HPS has pioneered the use of hygienic pigging within the food, beverage, beauty care and chemical industries. The mission was to develop product recovery systems that could be retro-fitted into customers' existing pipelines by designing a Pig that could easily negotiate Standard 1.5D pipe bends. These systems had to operate in hygienic environments and have CIP/SIP capabilities. The HPS Pigging System is used to RECOVER PRODUCT from the pipeline and/or to clear any water that remains in the pipeline after cleaning. Filling the residual product into final package recovers lost profit that's currently flushed down the drain.  Cleaning a pigged line also requires less water, less time and drastically reduces changeover time and reduces effluent!
