Biomist Effectively Kills Germs in Large and Small Areas. Biomist’s D2 Sanitizing Formula was put to the test against Salmonella on egg processing equipment. The standard method for cleaning the packer brushes in shell egg processing plants is to rinse thoroughly with water. When compared to using Biomist, which takes less time and is easier to apply, the usual method is proven ineffective. The test results show that in most cases Biomist can completely eliminate Salmonella and other bacteria in 5 mins, and over 24 hours will completely eliminate germs. Put side by side, Biomist is the clear winner.

MDM Received an SBIR Grant-Phase II to Prototype a New Axial Flow Pump. Multi-Duty Manufacturing (MDM) successfuly completed a Phase One SBIR Grant (Small Business Inovation Research Grant) in 2010 which proved the tecnological feasibility of their new axial-flow design. This design can achieve up to 75% efficiency.

The design and development of the “Dragon Slayer” pumping system was a collaborative effort between Dixon Pumps, a key Stocking Distributor, and an important end user. Dixon Pumps was asked to build a pumping system that would pump a high viscous wire line grease called “Dragon Seal 10,000″ This product is designed to have a very high adhesion property and is rated in viscosity at ISO VG 10,000. Existing pumping systems limited flow of the “Dragon Seal 10,000″ to less than 5 GPM. The Dixon Pumps system utilizes a 50 pound bypass on a 2″ Pump, 4.1:1 size 1 gear reducer and a 1.5 HP TEFC 110 VAC electric motor
